EDWARD HOUSE |
Edward House as it once looked in St Mary's Row, Birmingham Edward House was officially opened 1998 adjacent to the Birmingham Children's Hospital, in the heart of Birmingham's City Centre. On Monday 28 July 2008, after 10 years of caring for parents and siblings of children in attendance at the Hospital, the last guest left, and Edward House closed its doors for the final time. We will continue to carry with us some wonderful memories of all the times we shared together with the families who stayed with us. Teatime
Every day at 4 o'clock, everything at Edward House used to stop for tea. Staff and families alike would sit down together to share home baked cake and a cuppa, whilst they caught up on the latest happenings at the Hospital. In celebration of that, we produced a 'Teatime Treats' cookbook. There are still a few remaining if you would like a copy please contact us for further details.
