30 '4 O'clock Cakes' for 30 years!

Throughout the month of May we are asking supporters to hold their very own ‘4 O’clock Cake’ (4OCC for short) events.

4OCC dates back to 1991 when Edward’s Trust first opened as Edward House, providing a ‘home from home’ for parents whose children were in Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Every day at 4pm it was ‘tradition’ for the Edward House team to bake a cake. This would provide families with a much needed escape from the ward, a chance to talk, communicate and support each other. Over the years our work has evolved; however we still see the ‘4 O’clock Cake’ as a symbol of communication and togetherness.

We have created a free fundraising pack including everything you need to organise your very own ‘4 O’clock Cake’ event, which you can sign up to receive below.

Once you have held your own event make sure you send in all your fab photos and you will be invited to Audley St.George’s, Edgbaston where we will celebrate all the fabulous 4OCC’s at the ultimate ‘4 O’clock Cake Extravaganza’ (exclusive to 4 O’clock Cakers only).

When is your '4 O'clock Cake'?

Let us know if you have signed up for a pack and when you are planning to hold your own 4OCC event...
