Comprehensive bereavement support for families
As a social worker, you play an essential role in supporting families through some of their most challenging times. At Edward’s Trust, we are here to complement your efforts by providing top-tier bereavement support parents, children and young people who have experienced profound loss.
We adhere to the highest standards of care, and operate across all the tiers as outlined by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) three-component model. You can be sure that support needs for the families you work with will be fully assessed, and individual tailored work will be provided.
We offer three key types of bereavement support: specialist counselling, which provides a safe and private space for individuals to explore their grief with a trained professional; well-being therapies, offering moments of peace and relaxation to help individuals manage their emotions and stress; and support groups, which create opportunities to connect with others who share similar experiences, fostering understanding and a sense of community.
