Mindfulness is a well-respected and comprehensively researched technique which has been clinically proven to help reduce depression, anxiety and stress.  The technique involves simple meditation practices which, over time, can bring about changes in mood and increase a sense of wellbeing. In our support of bereaved parents, many have found that Mindfulness has reduced levels of insomnia and anxiety and generally helped them to manage daily activities more easily. Mindfulness is a beautifully simple strategy which has been endorsed by the NHS and forms part of their NICE guidelines for improved mental health.
