Edward’s Trust is delighted to announce the appointment of Clare Martin as our permanent Chief Executive Officer.
Clare has been leading the organisation as Interim CEO since April 2023, guiding us through a period of change with professionalism, competence, and compassion. The Board of Trustees is pleased to confirm her permanent appointment, which provides stability and continuity as we look to the future.
Like many charities, Edward’s Trust is working in a challenging environment, but Clare’s leadership, together with the commitment of our staff, volunteers, and supporters, will help ensure that we continue to adapt and strengthen our sustainability.
Clare brings a deep knowledge of Edward’s Trust, having been involved with the charity for more than 13 years, both as a trustee and as part of the senior leadership team. She draws on her legal background and wide leadership experience to guide the charity with care, accountability, and vision. Her passion for our mission and vision for the future will help us continue to provide vital support to bereaved parents, children and young people across the West Midlands.
We look forward to continuing to work alongside Clare and all who share our mission as we build on our impact and secure the future of Edward’s Trust.
