Honouring their memory

Losing someone you love is life-changing, but finding ways to remember and celebrate their life can bring comfort and healing. At Edward’s Trust, we provide meaningful ways to honour your loved one’s memory while supporting bereaved families.

Whether it’s setting up a tribute page, posting a photo on our dedication page or hosting a celebration event, each act of remembrance helps to keep their spirit alive. These personal tributes allow family and friends to reflect, share stories and find solace in knowing their loved one’s impact continues.

We hold special remembrance events, such as our annual December Remembrance Time, where families come together to honour and remember their child. However you choose to remember your loved one, Edward’s Trust is here to support you in creating a lasting tribute.

We also have a special Tree of Remembrance at the National Memorial Arboretum, where you are invited to sit beneath its copper leaves, each inscribed with the name of a loved one remembered by those supported by Edward’s Trust. While the tree is now full, and no further copper leaves can be purchased, we are pleased to share that a new memorial is in development and will be unveiled soon.

"It is difficult to put into words the help and support Edward's Trust offered. In my broken and tortured world they offered solice, comfort, support and safety. They listened to what I said and helped me validate each and everyone of my feelings. They helped me understand that it’s ok to not be ok. They helped me find hope in the darkness. Nothing can ever make my experience better or my loss easier but they showed me how to live alongside it. I honestly don’t think I would be where I am today without them. Eternally grateful xx"
