School and Community Fundraising
Bring your community together to support bereaved families
Why fundraise for Edward’s Trust?
We are dedicated to providing compassionate care and vital support to bereaved families across the West Midlands. Every year, around 700 families turn to us during the most challenging times of their lives, and it costs approximately £600,000 annually to provide our services. With no government funding, we rely entirely on community support to continue offering bereavement counselling, well-being therapies, and support groups.
Fundraising within your community is a meaningful way to come together and make a real difference. Whether you’re a school, club or local group, organising a fundraising event creates a sense of unity while directly impacting the lives of bereaved children, parents and families. We’re here to support you with resources, guidance and promotional materials to help make your event a success. Every effort (big or small) helps us continue our mission of providing essential bereavement support to those who need it most.
Getting involved in community fundraising is fun, rewarding and brings people together for a cause that truly matters. Whether you’re hosting a school event, joining one of our fundraising activities or organising something unique, there are plenty of ways to make a difference.
