What we do

Here at Edward’s Trust we offer a holistic approach to supporting people through bereavement and loss. We offer counselling (1 to 1, as a couple, or as a family) support groups, play therapy, wellbeing therapies and social events. We are also able to offer resources and training for those wanting to support people in their grief journey.

We offer support to parents and any adults affected by the death of a child, children and young people who have had someone important to them die, or have a parent, significant carer, brother, sister, other family member or friend who is terminally ill.

As Covid restrictions are eased a little, we are continuing to follow on-going government guideline updates relating to Covid19. Edward’s Trust will be starting to offer limited face to face support again. We continue to offer telephone support for our counselling and wellbeing services during this period. We have done a thorough risk assessment and implemented the necessary safety measures to ensure that we are all as safe as possible. Please see our Coronavirus page for more details and when we are able to invite you the building, please ensure you read and heed our Covid safety guidelines.

For urgent, out of hours support contact The Samaritans on 116 123 or Birmingham Mind Helpline on 0121 262 3555.
