Supporting children and families facing loss and surviving bereavement across the West Midlands.

What we do

Here at Edward’s Trust we offer a holistic approach to supporting people through bereavement and loss. We offer counselling (1 to 1, as a couple, or as a family) support groups, and wellbeing therapies and social events. We are also able to offer resources and training for those wanting to support people in their grief journey.

We offer support to parents and any adults affected by the death of a child, children and young people who have had someone important to them die, or have a parent, significant carer, brother, sister, other family member or friend who is terminally ill.

Due to the pandemic and to keep everyone as safe as possible, at the moment, during lockdown, we are offering phone support rather than face to face support. Please see our Coronavirus page for more details and when we are able to invite you the building, please ensure you read and heed our Covid safety guidelines.

For urgent, out of hours support contact The Samaritans on 116 123 or Birmingham Mind Helpline on 0121 262 3555.

If you are making a referral as a third party, please ensure that the child/young person wants to have bereavement counselling and that the parent/guardian of the child/young person is aware of referral. If you have any questions about our criteria, don’t hesitate to give us a call.
